Laminated glass (VSG) is a multi-layered glass composed of at least two layers of glass bonded with PVB foil. The layers may include many types of glass, from typical float glass, body tinted to coated, toughened and enamelled glass. The foil bonding the layers is usually clear, but can also be matte or in many translucent or opaque colours. Laminated glass is used for all types of railings, including self-supporting ones, glass roofs and canopies as well as glass floors and stairs.
